Eclipse Zine

In 2024, a total solar eclipse captivated everyone along its path, including myself. In celebration, I created a personal eclipse zine—not only to explore the science behind the solar eclipse, but also to serve as a time capsule for my future self, to be opened 21 years from now when the next total solar eclipse occurs.

The zine acts as a guide, explaining what an eclipse is, how it works, how often they occur, and their appearances over Arkansas. It also reflects on my current life—who I am, what I'm doing—and includes predictions and hopes for where I’ll be two decades down the road.

I Noticed The Moon book

This project is a personal exploration of growth—one month at a time. I aim to collect photos from my daily life, make space for creative expression through current projects, and think by journaling what’s on my mind. The goal is to gather visual, spiritual, and relational information to reflect how each aspect influences my creative process. The challenge is to observe and document how these different layers of life shape what I create and how I grow over the course of the semester.

The book is divided into four chapters—August, September, October, and November/December—each assigned a specific color palette. Breaking the book into months allows the reader to walk through the personal journey I experienced while creating it. As the audience moves through each chapter, they’ll notice shifts in tone and emotion that mirror the changing seasons. This structure highlights the overall goal: to show how life experiences directly influence creative work.
